I was at my Grandparents' house because my dad and I were doing some lawn maintenance for them, we had dinner, and then when we were getting ready to go, my grandpa hands me the keys for his 535i X-Drive, and says "we're gonna go around the block" I'm like 'ok'. So I get in the car, start it up and drive it around his neighborhood, I drove pretty well, and compared to the CR-V, It drives so much better.

He said to me after dinner, "If I live long enough and you play your cards right, you might get a BMW" so I have a deck of cards...

Honestly? If it was given to me I'd turn around, sell it, and use it to buy something older, sportier, and with far fewer doors.

I don't think he was talking about that one....

The only way I would get this car is if he was unable to drive (death or otherwise) and in that scenario I wouldn't be able to sell it (sentimental)...and if he did give this to me, I would keep it because I honestly like the F10, It drives nice, the best handling car I've ever driven (F10, '12 CRV, '06 Pilot) not much to compare but still, and really because the 5 series as a whole is his favorite car, and I can see why.

I have been buttering him up, but seriously he's a great man, and I could care less if he gives me a car or not, he keeps saying I'd look good in a 4 series

I kind of have the feeling that someday I'll have this car, along with some true collectable ones, and it will have center stage because my grandpa was the man who got me into cars.
